Who needs a Wyoming Sales and Use Tax License?
Wyoming requires that all individual or entities classified as a "vendor" acquire a Vendor's Permit and collect sales tax on behalf of the state. You are classified as a vendor if you engage in the retail or wholesale sales of tangible personal property, admissions fees, or services which are subject to taxation. Taxable services include telecommunications, interstate transportation, lodging, and any services that repair, alter or improve tangible property.

How to get a Wyoming Sales and Use Tax License:
You can acquire your Vendors' License, which authorizes you to collect sales tax, from the Wyoming Department of Revenue either online, via mail, or in-person at one of their field offices.
To register online, you must first create an account on the Wyoming Internet Filing System website. You can then use this account to apply for a license as well as submit your required tax filings.
